Keep The Pace!

Pacers to help YOU get YOUR PB!

 

We will have a large number of pacers running in both the Half Marathon and in the 10k race too. We would like to thank them all for their support. They are there as a guide for you to help assist with your pacing.

 

The pacers are at very regular intervals with two pacers each running to the following times:

Pacers for the Half Marathon:

1:30 / 1:35 / 1:40 / 1:45 / 1:50 / 1:55 / 2:00 / 2:10 / 2:20 / 2:30 and Last Runner

 

Pacers for the 10km:

0:45 / 0:50 / 0:55 / 1:00 / 1:05 / 1:10 and Last Runner

How will I spot my Pacer?

There will be a Meet the Pacer stand on Race Day ahead of the races so you can familiarise yourself with who you will be following.

The Pacers will all be wearing special PACER t-shirts with their target time on their backs. (Currently this is being kept under wraps but we will post a picture of the new tops here ahead of the big day).

In the holding areas waiting for the start of the race there will also be flags to show you which part of the queuing area you should wait in for your target finish time.
